As the year draws to an end, I want to reflect on all the changes that have happened in my life and show gratitude for all the people who've supported me along the way.
It's amazing what can happen in your life when you take a leap of faith. A couple of years ago, I had no public presence and was an IT guy watching the expansion of a culture war into the mainstream. Today, I'm fighting in it, giving my commentary on large platforms.
2022 marks the beginning of a relationship with The New York Post, which was purely by accident. After having an article rejected, someone suggested I send it to them. With no expectations, I said why not and the next day @KJTorrance accepted it.
Since then, Kelly has become someone who I consider a friend and professionally someone who completely understands me. I am incredibly grateful for her giving me a chance to express myself on a weekly basis.
This year, I did something I never saw myself really participating in, which was television. I've been on Fox & Friends, Sky News Australia, Talk TV, & Newsmax. Even cooler, they were usually due to my articles published in the NY Post.

In November, I went international by traveling to London and going on one of my favorite podcasts, Triggernometry, which was a real culture war nerd moment for me. I was legit nervous for a few minutes while listening to them do their introduction...truly surreal.
While in London, I was really appreciative that
, Katharine Birbalsingh, Ada Akpala & (Esther K) took time away from their busy schedules to meet up with me. I learned a lot from all of them in a short time and hope to keep building a relationship with them.September, my wife and I celebrated our 1-year anniversary with a 2-week getaway in Europe. This was also significant because it was the first time my wife and I discussed the possibility of me quitting my IT job to pursue writing instead.
My wife's support has been tremendous throughout this year. She's always supported me and found ways to help me when possible. When I'm unsure about something, she's there to discuss it with me. When I need an opinion on an article I'm working on, she's always there for me.
From the beginning, I wanted to inspire people to use their voices, especially through writing and I was able to do that at Moms4Liberty's conference as I gave my first instructional writing course. I'm really appreciative of Tiffany Justice & Tina Descovich’s friendship.
One of the most surreal moments for me was being at Ron DeSantis' re-election event in Tampa with my friend @DrChloe_. Thank you @ChristinaPushaw.
I know there are a ton of people I could thank, especially on Twitter. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Your encouragement and feedback have been extremely valuable for my growth.
A special thank you to Batya Ungar-Sargon for being a mentor & friend.
I want to thank the Wrong Speak Publishing family for believing in the mission and helping it grow. We've tripled our subscribers in three months in part to your hard work. Thank you
, Rebecca Velo, Judson Vereen, Dr. Joel Brown & John Sullivan.2023 is going to be an even bigger year for me and I'm glad to have you all be a part of it.
Sincerely,
