Thanks Lynette. This story was well timed, and a great reminder that God sends us what we need, just when we need it. As an army brat that grew up on military bases, I recognize the pattern. You just get to know people and form bonds, and then get orders moving you once again, to start the process over again. I didn't appreciate for many, many years how much I learned about people and the value of making new friends.

So very true! I was so lonely at our first duty station. Stuck inside the whole time with a two year old and a newborn. I was determined to make friends during our next move and I am still friends with two remarkable women!
