I am SO glad you used the word reunification. I was raised in the church in the US & was a lazy believer. I spent 5 yrs in Egypt for my job where only 12%(then, anyway) of the population is Christian, saw my friend's families killed in bombings & the hurt in their hearts to being me back to the Lord & reaffirm my faith. We are SO fortunate here. Thank God for that reawakening! Keep up the good fight,

Beautiful commentary, and I relate to it. Jesus has been my best friend in life, and I had times in life where I felt abandoned, and I felt despair I never thought I would get out of, but clinging to Jesus did in time, get me through. Jesus can bind up a broken heart, but I have learned it is often a journey by faith, and often healing does happen, but not overnight. Prayers for all. Thank you for this testimony.

Thank you for sharing your story as well. I do appreciate it. It's good to know I'm not the only one.

I am so thankful for all of your articles. Especially the ones where you share your faith. You sprinkle your faith over various times instead of just pouring it on heavy, like an open top salt shaker. That's wisdom. I think of the verse in Esther which says, "for such a time as this." That's you.

God never leaves us. We just think he does because we've left him and it's much easier to cast blame on him and shirk out own accountability than to humble ourselves and seek his presence.

Good article.

Sometimes Adam I feel like these columns are written about me. I’m sure many of your readers feel the same way. It’s similar to being in church and thinking that everyone will somehow know that the pastor is teaching his sermon about me. I love these columns. Keep them up as they highlight what is likely the common human experience for so many of us.

By the way, that pic of what I can only assume is you as a child…what a cute kid you were, especially in that suit with what appears to be an extra snazzy double breasted coat. Excellent. I have a pic of my son and I when my wife and I renewed our wedding vows. We were in matching tuxes, although of course his tux was a mini version of mine. He was about 19 months old. You were both pretty spiffy kids, hahaha. 😉😂

Amen. I, too, came back to the fold, and wonder why it took so long. Welcome back brother.
