This is so terrifying. I hear these stories so much less under the Trump administration, but I have no idea what the actual change in their occurrence is.
The body of the iceberg was built under Obama-Biden, but the NGOs, activists and indoctrinates school staff are still there practicing their evil deeds. IT will take a long time and many lawsuits (and lota of publicity about the harms, so the media will have to shift, good luck there) to root this out, maybe a generational turnover. The parents who transed their kids and all the relatives will keep fighting til the bitter end. .
Twelve or so years ago, I got a frantic call from an old friend. Her daughter had tried committing suicide because she thought she was a 'boy.' Not knowing about the trans movement, I stupidly assumed she thought there were obstacles to life choices because she was female, and suggested getting every book on women who carved out their own paths. )This 'boy' is now a very feminine adult woman.) Around the same time, a plastic surgeon I had been friendly with told me that children who questioned their biological sex should be put on puberty blockers. I challenged how this could be healthy. What cancers or illnesses would result from suppressing the essential hormones? And during this same whirlwind period, my son's school announced that a second-grade girl was now to be treated as a boy. I heard she was put on hormones. Luckily, someone listened when she changed her mind a month later. Many of our schools have become true cesspools. But according to the tech bros I’ve heard, it is no problem that the schools are terrible - including in SanFran - as they will just import their needs. When Silicon by the beach opened near Maxine Waters, I wrote her office suggesting that the tech people subsidize/run a charter school. I was naive in thinking leaders would want educated, bright constituents. Now I think molding kids into unthinking sheep is the point.
January is a heroine, fighting for all parents and children. The greatest part of the story is that she was able to help her daughter to desist and come back to sanity before serious medical harm had occurred, though I’m sure the psychological harm was great. Warm wishes for total healing for the girl and her family.
