If I haven’t said this already, I love writing for the NY Post for multiple reasons. First, Kelly Torrance is a great editor and we are on the same wavelength probably 99% of the time.
Second, I get to criticize powerful people and they might actually see what I have to say. In this case, I really hope Cuomo reads it and it pisses him off because of how accurate it is.
I pitched writing about Cuomo denying his responsibility for the deaths caused by his policy to place COVID patients in nursing homes and his subsequent cover-up of the number of people who died.
I say that Cuomo won’t face consequences because the most powerful people in our country rarely do. We hear radical leftists talk about there being a “2-tiered justice system” but they’re usually talking about race…but I think the most significant is between economic classes.
If you’re poor, you’re stuck at the whims of the justice system. Hell, if you’re middle class, a case can bring you into poverty. But if you’re wealthy enough, you can afford your freedom.
However, people like Cuomo are on another tier where they aren’t ever charged with a crime: they’re forgiven. That’s what I wanted to convey in my article.
Give it a read and let me know what you think:
My Latest NY Post Article - Privileged Cuomo Won't Face Consequences
That was great. But sad to learn that I cannot tell a cop that others are speeding as well so I shouldn't get a ticket. Was hoping I could. Your piece prompted a very interesting comment, "Cuomo's own people removed him from office to get rid of the nursing home issue. They accused Andy of being a predator on the thinnest of evidence. Thats how the DNC cleans house."
Who are the people telling us “no one is above the law”? The wealthy, the powerful and US government officials not held accountable for high level criminal activity. Just another silly lie they like to tell the people who they hold in such little regard.
