Blessings to you for taking this project on. It is such an important story and it's all forgotten. I fear that the trucking industry is just waiting for Democrats to regain power so the issue all goes away.
When I drive my little sports car on the 880 corridor in the San Francisco Bay area, I am always cognizant of big rigs near me—and I definitely do NOT drive in front of one. I keep my distance. 🫡
Had never thought about this, but have wondered about the safety of self-driving cars and trucks which do their final testing and proving on our roads.
I have always wondered why groups like MADD don’t go after cities like El Paso and several California cities that don’t prosecute illegal aliens for DUI. I’ve been told that the unwritten policy is to throw them in the drunk tank, let them sober up and cut them loose in the morning. No arrest, no fingerprints, mugshots, breath/blood tests or record of the interaction. Apparently they are more concerned over the habitual drunken drivers immigration status than the safety of the people funding their city. After all, who would want model citizens like these deported?
