Your sympathetic article describes the victims of the Hamas massacre as "people of peace" and "new-age hippies" who were celebrating life and seeking openness and acceptance. You even seem to imply that that is why the terrorists targeted them: they were "ambasadors of love and harmony." Maybe you should have also mentioned the real reason they were targeted: they were Israelis and Jews!
There were people from all over the world that were there. It wasn't just Israelis and Jews. There were Germans, Mexicans, Brazilians, and the list goes on.
Maybe you can write your own article and talk about what you want to be there. I'll write it how I want it written.

Very helpful perspective. I will say that I don't think they were "specifically selected"; it seemed to be far more a case of wrong place, wrong time.
I think they were looking for soft targets and being in the middle of the desert made them a perfect one.
One of my favorite psytrance artists is Simon Posford (Hallucinogen), one of the early pioneers in the genre.
