Adam, do not be concerned at the "attackers" that disagree with you. That just shows, you are hitting the target, and they want to intimidate you to keep you from hitting the bullseye. This is why a lot of us are reading your analysis!

Oh, I'm not concerned by them at all. Everything I write is how I actually feel. They do they don't have to agree with me and their attacks don't work on me. They make me laugh actually.

Agree that mainstream media clearly has two standards. They attack and exaggerate any shortcomings of Trump, and will "exclude" and "leave out context" to distort his words. And agree that mainstream media is very often an arm of the DNC.

Spot on again! I remember wanting to hear a debate on the changing and/or removal of public monuments, but apparently one side has descended into mob rule, and the media pours lies onto the fire to fuel the mob rule. We are heading to a very bad place.

Thank you for continuously being a great role model.

Sadly millions are currently in the position you were, but they’ll never learn the reality of the situation. The media machine is powerful, and even with its many missteps, it’s still blindly trusted by the masses. The ability for uncensored, truthful information to travel at lightning speed is helping some to see the light, but recent government actions across the globe threaten to smother that, too.

I'm not seeing a link to the article in the Substack app on Android. Are we supposed to just go to the NY Post site and search for it? 🤔

I don't see the link, but I am pretty confident I know what it says. I felt prolly the same way in 2016 until I read this to re-confirm what I had previously thought of him growing up in the 80s:

Mainstream media - including Trump hating Faux News - is against you. Never forget that.

Trump did say that there are good (or very fine) people on both sides. I saw the news clip and heard the words as his lips moved. He spoke first about the good (very fine) people on one side of the issue and then seemed to realize that he might offend those on the other side so he expanded the statement into meaninglessness. If everyone on both sides is very fine, then Trump takes no moral stance and his statement is pointless.

Expand full comment

That may be true but it mattered about who he was talking about. He made clear that he's not talking about the white supremacists and even ridiculed them.

Yes you saw the CNN edited out of context clip. That has been so thoroughly debunked that ONLY Democrat evangelists and those whom are sleeping still believe that big lie. In fact, probably not even Democrat evangelists.

You saw the clip, but you still apparently didn't hear his entire statement. You also change the entire meaning of the sentence yourself from "there are good people on both sides" to "everyone on both sides is very fine." Trump never used the word "everyone," and Trump was absolutely correct. Many were there to protest removing the sculptures without a debate, people that had no affiliation with racist groups. We solve issues like this through debate, not through caving to whoever throws the biggest public tantrum. If we cave to tantrums and threats, we are going to fall to mob rule.

The "both sides" are the local people divided over whether or not to remove a statue (or statues, as the case may be). And he said clearly he watalking about about the extremist group(s) trying to infiltrate the issue. It makes perfect sense that a property developer )who's done civic projects as well) would be interested and familiar that both sides have good intentions

*was NOT talking (dang app texting)

There are good people on both sides of keeping our history alive such as displaying confederate statues. The media clearly edited the narrative as they always do. They "have to give an issue context." which means you are being manipulated at every turn with a few exceptions of here and folks like Sharyl Attkisson or former lefties like Sasha Stone.

Most politicians do not give a darn about people there in it for themselves and that goes for democrats and Republicans. Like trump hate him does not matter he's in it for himself.

I feel the same way! I didn’t ‘hate’ him, but the Legacy Media eroded my trust in the former president.

So in voting for president, will it be for the person with "despicable" character who is chronically lied about via the main stream press or the person with "despicable" character whom has bold face lied about most of her big impact political positions and who the main stream press is lying about.

You have not been paying attention. I am no fan of Trump but the lies of the MSM out weigh the hyperbole of Trump. And Trump does say stupid things but his actions are good for common sanity and Great for America in comparison to the ideas of the party of blue nutters. Why would Harris suddenly adopt most of Trumps long time platform other than to spread lies the feeble minded will believe?
