The democrats have attacked just about every demographic, including men both black and white. Madeleine Albright stated “There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women" about voting for HC. I must be writing to you from that special place. Then there was the Florida governor race of DeSantis vs Crist, and I wanted to hear what Crist had to say as I had not made up my mind. Crist said “Those who support the governor should stay with him and vote for him. I don’t want your vote. If you have that hate in your heart — keep it. I want the vote of the people of Florida who care about our state. Good Democrats, good independents, good Republicans — unify with this ticket." I like candidates who try and convince me what they type of administration they intend and how they represent all of us, not tell me I'm full of hate if I don't vote for him. Crist and HC made this hardline feminist decision easy, and now Harris is following in their shoes. I guess I got some DEI in there with one white male, one white female and one Asian/black female that I won't vote for. In fact, since the dems have left the farm and moved to another planet, I can go down the ballot and check "R" all the way. I've been independent since I registered to vote in 1979 (until last year), and I had never voted for an R or D at the top of the ticket until Obama. He seemed to be saying something different than the pablum we're served up every election, but I was disappointed. Now the dems have made my voting easy. On a good note, much to the dems dismay they are uniting us.
Remember when she called out Nikki Haley for using a nickname to make her seem more ethnic, and then when she was called out for doing the same thing she said that most people couldn’t pronounce her given name, which is Asuncion. As if everyone is stupid. I never liked her before, but her arrogance with respect to that issue made me a hater.
My politics have always been on the purple spectrum, but I was definitely more "lefty" when I was younger than I am now (FYI, my late father warned me that this would happen!). As I told one of my slightly older, still-lefty relatives in recent years, the left lost me and will NEVER get me back. Here are some of the primary reasons why:
1.) First Amendment: I remember when the left supported free speech and freedom of the press to such an extent that their support of anything else was unfathomable, especially during the Bush/Cheney era.
2.) Transgenderism: I admit with some shame that I voted in support of gay marriage in my state prior to Obergefell. . .but had I known this would lead to the attempted normalization of the "transgender" myth, I never would have done so. Lesson learned. . .
3.) Even though collectivism only works when it's voluntary (as practiced by some religious orders and fraternal organizations), some of the left really appears to support involuntary collectivism/socialism/communism. Another lesson learned. . .
If I may compare this to my own situation: I am accused of loving the death of children and being pro-genocide because I think Israel has a right to exist, defend *and* deter -
Whatever. I no longer care what mental cases think of me.
The Democrats in the USA and the Liberal Party in Canada are both so far left, so evil, that any praise for them discounts my opinion of the speaker to negative integers.
The Dem/Libs are both parties that support Hamas,Trans-madness,bigger govt, climate change… no, no & no. They are Destroyers.
They must be shunned, marginalized and eliminated.
Just got to this Adam and it's excellent. Your description of Obama, something that only a black man can say, made me chuckle out loud. It was funny but really appropriate. And this sentence from your reply to a comment from "Amusings" below was excellent: "That's the problem...they're not trying to convince us." Indeed they are not. They are trying to name call and bully not only black men but many groups that use to be reliable Democrat voters, including the entire working class, union members, suburban moms, etc. Instead of explaining why their way is better and how it will help such groups and others, Democrats are either lazy or stupid, neither way a good method for life success. They would rather just call people in such groups names and denigrate them in an effort to bully them into voting Democrat. Its actually shocking and appalling. A business would never survive by treating its customers in such a manner and I have no idea why the Democrat Party thinks such behavior is the path to success. And I completely agree that President Trump is not a man without faults. However, neither was King David. Trump gets the big stuff right and his basic worldview of putting America and American citizens first, avoiding wars if possible (war as a last resort, what a novel concept??!!), cutting the tax burden on citizens, fixing our border and then our broken immigration system, supporting the Constitution and all of the Bill of RIghts...which were things that the Democrat Party I grew up around always did, but no longer...well, I can live with his faults because he gets the big stuff right. No party that doesn't respect potential voters and tries to bully them into submission is worth anyone's vote.
These women think they're saviours who require a black woman to be their messiah. Shaming black men as a means of controlling their behaviour, because they're allowed to, is a necessary means for fulfilling their prophecy/fantasy.
She and her quasi-elitist wannabe ilk, would be the first to come running up to any black man they'd berated and belittled for protection, in the face of a real threat.
At that point, I'd step aside and say, "hey I'm a crazy & ridiculous black man, move it along sweetie, all we got in this shop is toxic masculinity and common sense and I know you think both of those are lower than whale shit. Good luck".
When the time comes, let these types perish from their own stupidity and ignorance. If you save them and allow them into your societies again, they will just infect those around them with the poison and start this sh*t show all over again.
I respect your right to your opinion. But remember, there are few people, democrat or republican, who are opposed to any abortion or who support abortion in all cases. Almost all of us are somewhere in between.
I find the republican party no more intolerable than the democratic party in that regard. Nor any less intolerable.
And what is it with birth control? I've never heard of any republican position against birth control.
The Republican party doesn't seem to want women to decide to be pregnant or not. Find me some Republicans who speak in public about supporting birth control and maybe I might support their party! Until then, I will never vote for the Republicans. I am a husband and a father, and I will never support a party that would let my wife or daughters die to further any political (or religious) agenda.
"Hawley said he opposes the bill because it could veer into establishing rights for abortion medication. “It would also make the abortion drug mifepristone — not contraception, but mifepristone — available in all 50 states no matter what the state law is, and that would override my state’s law, bunch of states' laws. It would take it out of the hands of voters,” Hawley said. “That’s an abortion issue. That’s not a contraception issue.” "
I was not surprised to see that NBC didn't provide a link to the actual bill. Generally, the MSM don't want us reading the primary source; they want us taking their word for it. I NEVER take their word for anything, do you? I've provided a link below.
Here's reference to some other bills that the MSM didn't want us to read:
Rarely is any bill before congress entirely one-sided. We've had bills that democrats called 'don't say gay bills' that say nothing about anybody's sexuality. Democrats have denounced 'voter suppression' laws that only suppress illegal voting.
I know of no state that prohibits contraception. Do you? I know of no significant republican movement to ban contraception. Do you? So, why does this bill even exist? Have you thought about the motives for writing a pointless bill and then ginning it up as if republicans are up to something nefarious? Apparently, it works.
They haven't been able to ban it...yet. But once they fully get their way on abortion, they will start chipping away at contraception by calling certain types of it "abortifacients".
It's hard to imagine why anyone would think it's a good tactic to insult the voter you wish to convince. The tone-deafness is staggering.
That's the problem...they're not trying to convince us. They can take us or leave us.
Breathtaking arrogance... will they ever have remorse or at least self-introspection?
Introspection requires humility, which is absent in the mind of a histrionic narcissist with totalitarian desires.
In short, it won't happen.

I used to book Sunny when I worked at Court TV. She was a pain-in-the-ass most of the time. Screw those awful sell-out women! Go Adam!
She looks like she's a snooty elitist. She gives off "Im better than you" vibes.
Remember when she called out Nikki Haley for using a nickname to make her seem more ethnic, and then when she was called out for doing the same thing she said that most people couldn’t pronounce her given name, which is Asuncion. I’ve spent more than a few night sleeping in bunkers or a foxhole. Sure wish I had these folks in there with me telling how I should feel.

My pleasure

Thank you
Articulates my sentiments as well
👏
Got it.
If the Republicans were ok with abortion and birth control I would vote for them, no question. As it is, I can't vote for either party.
