When NY was run by #EmperorCuomo, and NYC was run by #BenitodeBlasio, I should have suspected their replacements might be even worse. Little did I know how deeply they would both plumb into WTAF-Land! Roger Garrison presciently stated, "Sooner or later every president makes you nostalgic for his predecessor." His observation apparently applies to multiple levels of government.

This "boarder crisis" has been headline news on certain stations for over 2 years. It continues to get worse, with government officials now suggesting we let these illegals join our armed forces as a road to citizenship. WTF?! We the people will continue to sleep until this issue lands at our doorstep. We'll read about the issues, lament about it, but what will we really do? We'll lock our door, and go to bed so we can get up and go grind away at our 9-5. No time to protest, no time to vote intelligently. And those with TDS will vote for Biden or more than likely Newsome in 2024 and nothing will change other than possible tax increases, crime, housing displacement and poverty. Sounds so exciting. This story also shed a small amount of light on the way our country treats those who helped defend our freedoms. Make sure the illegals have 3 hots and a cot but kick that veteran to the curb. He'll be all right. Be sure to thank them for their service right after you put them in the streets.

You are absolutely correct Adam. That fact that this is being done to a Veteran highlights the issue but it would be wrong regardless of who the victim is. And you are also correct that it will continue until our fellow citizens wake up to the devastation that is headed our way. We cannot help the rest of the world by importing all of its problems to the United States. We cannot stop this unless we wake up to the reality that it continues because the Washington Uniparty wants it to continue. It's easy to pick on the Democrats here because they are primarily responsible, but the "Country Club/Chamber of Commerce" Republicans are also at fault because of their desire for cheap labor, among other things. Regardless of what happens next November there is no guarantee that it will stop unless and until voters recognize the problem and then elect representatives who will actually do something to deport every illegal alien (I use that term because that is how the law describes them and also because it makes the other side crazy) and build a defensive barrier that will actually prevent people from getting in unless we allow them.

Thanks for highlighting what is perhaps one of the top five strategic issues of our time. The other day I watched in interview with a Muslim immigrant to Germany. The immigrant was interviewed at a pro-Palestinian protest there. He commented that when the Muslims are in the majority then Sharia will become the law in Germany and there will no longer be German law. The reporter asked about Muslims using violence to achieve that goal and the immigrant stated that there would be no need for violence because Muslims will outnumber Germans in their own country in the not too distant future.

And so goes the world. This is a clash of civilizations that people must wake up to. Unless we preserve what is ours it will be taken away. Mass immigration will destroy western culture and the United States along with it. People need to understand how immigration was managed throughout our history and realize that unfettered and unlimited immigration is not the historic model. There were periods in American history where immigration was strictly limited. The problem of the Veteran you highlighted is merely a symptom of a far greater danger and threat. Well done, as usual.

Thank you for drawing attention to this matter; its so hard to imagine this happening in our country. I certainly hope the citizens of NY are outraged enough to take some action.

I'm curious if that assisted living facility was just labeled as an assisted living facility or actually was one & licensed by the state or county (not sure if NY is state or county driven). Most ALF's if they actually are assisted living facilities must be licensed by a regulating body & in order to shut down & discharge there is a set procedure that must be followed. If any of those residents were Medicaid funded - meaning any part of their monthly payment was funded through that funding source, there would be even stricter guidelines as to what can/cannot be done. If NY doesn't have this - then I'm surprised. I work in this area (abuse & exploitation of vulnerable adults) & NY is one of the states that holds themselves as a "leader."
